4 out of 5 dentists surveyed recommend ICP

From the 'even I can't make this up' department: Last night's Tempe, AZ, stop on the Insane Clown Posse Happy Daze Tour was canceled by the promoter because "sugar-laced" Faygo was shipped to the venue, rather than the Diet Faygo typically used by the act.

One of my huge misgivings after Monday night's show was not taking a picture of the mountain of Diet Faygo backstage before ICP's 75-minute set at The Grove in Anaheim, CA - it was reduced to a pile of empty boxes by the end of the night, the band and their crew of a half-dozen demented clowns showering their Juggalo fans with the "ghetto pop" by every means possible, from super soaker guns, to buckets, to the method of choice for ICP's Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope - shaking countless two liters and spraying anyone and everyone within reach.

If you keep up with my musings on Twitter, you may recall Monday night's post-show, backstage revelation, when I posted that only Diet Faygo is used during Insane Clown Posse shows, because it doesn't dry sticky. This isn't so much in consideration of their fans (a sticky coat of dried Faygo would be an improvement for a lot of them), but rather the Posse themselves, who find being soaked in the sugar-free, non-stick pop a lot more tolerable throughout their set.

The tour - featuring Insane Clown Posse, Kittie, Coolio, Kottonmouth Kings, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, DJ Mike E Clark and Juggalo Championship Wrestling - was scheduled for last night and tonight in Tempe. Tonight's show will continue as planned, and Tuesday's show has been rescheduled for Friday night. The tour is in Las Vegas tomorrow night, and concludes Saturday in New Mexico.

Maybe Coolio took advantage of Tuesday's unexpected downtime to fix his misspelled Juggalo tattoo... Nah, not likely.

As for the Juggalos that won't know what to do with themselves after the tour winds to a close this weekend? Stephen Colbert has devised a plan for the ICP fans to help with the Gulf of Mexico oil spill cleanup...
